I suck.
But I love old architecture!!
I can't help it. I want to live in an old ass mansion when I get older and have a real job. I want it to be haunted too. You eventually get used to the ghost thing. Anyway, just wait until I get a car and go hunting for old churches. muahahahaha
P.S Any of you going to Otakon? Love to see you kids there.
EDIT:
Yesterday, I happened upon the Shadyshide Presbyterian church. I walked in, and found a lady who showed me the sanctuary. I didn't have my camera with me at the time, but I talked to the executive pastor and I was allowed to come back the next day before 1.
So, that's exactly what I did. I headed out at 10:30am. I got a little turned around though. A guy on a bicycle used his cell phone to try and find it, but the phone couldn't even find a number of a Shadyside Presbyterian church! I thanked him, and walked on. Finally, a guy at a bus stop told me that I had gone two streets too far. Turning around, I could see why I had missed it and why people didn't know where it was. The street sign was only shown in one direction. From the other way, it was hidden behind trees. I love it when that happens.
I arrived at the church on time, but they needed some info before I could take pictures. Such as my name, number, and what the pictures were to be used for.
I told them I did it as a hobby, and that they would not be published at all. No magazines, books, etc. I told them about deviantart.com, and how everything is automatically copyrighted when posted there. That way, no one could steal the image without getting into trouble. When asked what the site was like, I gave them all the details. I wanted to be honest with them, for I didn't want to get in trouble for anything. I told them that all forms of art are on there. Digital art, traditional art, pottery, metal, etc. Even nudity art.
I was told I could not post the photos on the site, due to the other content of the site. I agreed not to post anything, and that the photos would be for friends, family and my eyes only.
The secretary led me into the sanctuary, and she watched me walk around and kneel there, lean over there, point my camera to the ceiling...
I showed her what I had taken and she liked a lot of them.
Here's the kicker: She asked for my e-mail address, in case the executive pastor wanted to use any of my images for promotion for the church, such as Christmas cards or bulletins. Yay!
I thanked them for their time, and left to take pictures of the beautiful homes in the area. I will keep my promise to them so I'm sorry dA but you can't see the pictures.

And I want to live in an old-ass house too! With servants quarters, secret passages, and silver candlesticks! ^^

Not going to Otakon, but if you and your seestah are, that's great! You'll see Mike S. there, he's one of the guests! He's also going to be at San D, so I'll try and say hi.
